1. Obtain an ACTA Online Filer (AOF) account.
You will need a filer account in order to conduct a Validate RPC filing. If you already have one proceed to the next step. If you need to obtain one, you can click on "register" link on the top right hand side of any www.part68.org web page. Please fill out the "Filer Account" information.
2. Log into the ACTA Online Filing System.
You can log onto the system from the www.part68.org home page by filling in your username and password in the space provided on the top right hand side of the home page. Once you enter your information you then need to click on "AOF Filer Login".
3. Make sure to add the RPC(s) that you are authorized to file for to your AOF Filer Account.
Once you have logged in, you will be brought to your Filer account information page. This page contains all of the information associated with your account. If you have not already done so you will need to add any or all Responsible Party Codes that you are authorized to file for. This can be done at the bottom of the page. It will also display all the RPC codes you are authorized to file for as well.
4. Select from the left hand menu, Validate RPC.
Once you have logged onto the system and have added any RPC codes that you are authorized to file for, you can begin your validation filing. Selecting the Validate RPC filing type form the left hand menu will start the process.
5. Select the RPC you are validating
A drop down list will be provided for you containing all of the RPC codes that you are filing for, if the specific RPC does not show for you, please revisit Step 3 to make sure you have added the RPC to your filer account.
6. Update the Responsible Party Code information.
They system will return to you all of the information associated with the Responsible Party Code. You will be able to update all aspect of the Responsible Party Code except for the RPC code itself and the company name. You are also able to update any Points of Contact associated with this Responsible Party Code.
7. Review all of the Responsible Party Code information to make sure it is correct.
Once you are satisfied with the updates, you can then review the RPC code information to make sure it is accurate.
8. Process payment and complete validation process.
Once you have reviewed the information you can then proceed to the payment screen. You will be given the option to pay via Credit Card. Upon successful completion of the process you will receive an email notification that the filing has been completed and that the RPC code has been validated. if you realize at a later time that any information is incorrect, you can submit the requested changes to firstname.lastname@example.org
Validated RPCs are able to be updated at no charge throughout the entire year by submitting requests to email@example.com
