Equipment Description: NET–UX2000 / Sonus-SBC 2000 Unified Communications Exchange is a 1U (1.75”) high and 19” wide media server with one single board computer, up to 6 digital signaling processors, 5 Ethernet ports for internet protocol devices, two 2-connector USB ports for data devices and call control components contained in a single, compact black color metal enclosure. It also has the option to provide one additional Stratum-3 Building Integrated Timing Source (BITS) card and one additional 4-port Ethernet card. There are 2 configurable card slots at the back of the NET-UX2000 / Sonus-SBC 2000 chassis for the connection of 8-port T1/E1 1544 kbit/s or 2048 kbit/s digital and ISDN primary rate access PSTN cards or T1/E1 WAN cards or Serial Data cards and the 24-port FXS cards or 24-port FXO cards.
