Effective May 1st, 2008 the Administrative Council for Terminal Attachment (ACTA) will adjust its fee for processing Telephone Terminal Equipment (TTE) information submitted for inclusion in the centralized database of Part 68 equipment to $425.00 per submission. The adjusted fee applies to submission of Original, Modifications, Notice of Change, Re-certification/re-declarations, and Request for Responsible Party Codes.

The Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments ("ACTA") herein issues notice of the adoption of the following technical criteria from an American National Standards Institute ("ANSI") accredited standards developer the Telecommunications Industry Association ("TIA") entitled: Telecommunications Telephone Terminal Equipment Connector Requirements for Connection of Terminal Equipment to the Telephone Network, TIA-1096, August 2006," and "Telecommunications – Telephone Terminal Equipment – Technical Requirements for Connection of Terminal Equipment to the Telephone Network – Addendum 4, TIA-968- A-4, November 2006." As noted by TIA, TIA-968-A-4 is an Addendum to TIA-968-A.

The Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments Issues Notice of its Intent to Adopt Proposed Technical Criteria received from American National Standards Institute ("ANSI") accredited standards developer, the Telecommunications Industry Association ("TIA"). The ACTA has received two technical criteria documents entitled "Telecommunications Telephone Terminal Equipment- Technical Requirements for Connection of Terminal Equipment to the Telephone Network-TIA-968-A-4 (Addendum 4 to TIA-968-A)- November 2006" and "Telecommunications Telephone Terminal Equipment Connector Requirements for Connection of Terminal Equipment to the Telephone Network- TIA-1096-August 2006.
